| The
Park Services Division provides maintenance and services to 60
city parks, Tuolumne River Regional Park, John Thurman Field, many
landscaped sites, public right-of-ways, transportation sites, bus
stops, recreation programs, and community events. The division
maintains over 500 acres of developed parks, including over 400
acres of turf, 22 wading pools, 44 tennis courts, 8 lighted
ballfields, 16 group picnic sites, and over 10 miles of bike
paths. Park crews are on duty 7 days a week, 12 hours a day for
most of the year.
The division has supervision of Guest Services, which
coordinates facility rentals and special events and ensures all
park and facility users a positive experience. To contact Guest
