| The Youth Recreation Financial Assistance Program is for any
individual wishing to participate in a City of Modesto Parks,
Recreation and Neighborhoods Program, or City-approved youth
sports league. Youth participants must be 18 years of age or
younger AND meet eligibility requirements for low-income
families or live in a
low-income
target neighborhood.
Applications
Approved
applications will
be eligible for a maximum award of $100 per fiscal year (July
1-June 30). Financial assistance will be granted to pay up to 90%
of registration fees for programs that cost $5 and above.
Participants will be required to pay the remaining 10% at the time
of registration.
