The City of Modesto Internet/Intranet Technology Action Plan

The City of Modesto has resolved to create digital portals that will connect local and regional residents, businesses and employees. The City intends to use interactive technology to share information and provide exemplary service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

The Internet/Intranet Technology Plan focuses on five key areas:

• Increasing awareness of, and exposure and access to, technology for all Modestans
• Modifying internal processes to accommodate e-government
• Improving internal communication, performance and efficiency by sharing information/data, and streamlining administrative systems
• Stimulating growth of technology by developing the tools and business climate necessary for new economic growth.
• Developing a digital infrastructure that stimulates growth in the technology industry.
