In the City of Modesto, there are three types of Business Licenses. A Business License is required of all
home and commercial business owners within the City of Modesto.

All Business License Applications are interactive. When you open the form, click in the first field
and type in the information to complete the form. Print the application and click on "Save a Copy"
to keep for your records.

- Fill out the application(s) completely? (Please be sure that the business start date and owner
information is filled in.)
- Sign the Business License Application?
- Sign both pages of the Home Business Permit and Agreement (if the business is conducted from the
residential location)?
- Enclose the appropriate fee?
