"Mix at 615" Presents Break Dance Competition

The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department's Maddux Youth Center and the Paradise South Weed and Seed Project will present a break dance competition as part of the "Mix at 615" event on Friday, May 16, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Maddux Youth Center located at 615 Sierra Drive.

Funded by the Paradise Weed and Seed Grant, "Mix At 615" provides teens aged 13-17 with a safe, supervised after-hours location to enjoy high-energy activities, such as basketball, contests, talent shows, break dancing, music entertainment and a variety of games. A special themed activity is featured each week, and refreshments are provided. Participants must have a membership card on file to attend.
