Mayor to Give State of the City Address at State Theatre

Mayor Jim Ridenour will give his fourth State of the City Address at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at the State Theatre, 1307 J Street, Modesto.

Mayor Ridenour will share his views on how to make Modesto a better place to live - tomorrow and beyond. The Mayor will address the city's economic development, community partnerships, youth programs, and other important issues facing Modesto. The Mayor has pledged to continue his quest of “providing basic services and respecting your tax dollars” in his effort to run Modesto as a successful business.

The State of the City Address is open to everyone, and the public is invited to attend.

AccessModesto Community TV will replay the Mayor’s State of the City Address. For Comcast Cable subscribers in Modesto, the program will be broadcasted on Channel 7. Throughout the rest of Stanislaus County on the Charter Cable system, the program will broadcast on Channel 19.

Mayor Ridenour’s State of the City Address will be broadcast on the following dates and times:
Tuesday, January 16 – 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, January 17 – 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, January 18 – 9 a.m.
Friday, January 19 – 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Saturday, January 20 – 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Sunday, January 21 – 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Monday, January 22 – 5:30 p.m.
