Description:
The Woodglen Specific Plan proposes a mix of (single-family &
multi-family) Residential and Open Space land use designations.
The project includes 77 low-density residential lots (5,000 s.f.
minimum) on 16.3 acres, 260 medium-density residential lots
(3,000-5,000 s.f.) on 36.7 acres, and 196 multi-family
residential units on 9.8 acres. Additionally, the project
proposes 9.8 acres of open space that includes a variety of park
and storm drainage facilities.
Location:
The Woodglen
Specific Plan area is bordered by Bangs Avenue on the north, Pelandale
Avenue on the south, Carver Road on the west and Tully Road on the
east. Orchards and vineyards are located to the north and east of the
project site, while single-family residential land use is located to the
west and south
Schedule:
The Specific Plan and related work efforts are in progress.
Resolution of final issues and design details should be
completed later this year (2008), with public hearings for
adoption by the Planning Commission and City Council to follow.
