Description:
This technical update to the General Plan and Master EIR is
meant to incorporate “new” policies that fall into one of three
major categories: (1) incorporating as policy those practices
that are regularly approved and which effectively have become
policy, (2) proposing new policies to provide direction for
anticipated issues, and (3) incorporating adopted policies that
are not currently reflected in the General Plan. This project
does not include any major changes to the existing General Plan.
Location:
The technical General Plan and Master EIR update affects the
entire City and lands within the Sphere of Influence and General
Plan boundaries.
Schedule:
Consideration by
the Planning Commission and City Council will be scheduled this
summer.
